At the end of Demons, the second book in this trilogy, Patrick sees the death of Kate. Since then, he has intensified his guard duties and Kate barely has a moment alone. He tries everything to make sure that Kate will not have to travel to the past, ensuring that she will be safe. Patrick soon realizes that he won’t succeed. He knows that Kate will do anything she can to defeat the Demon Lord. But what can Patrick do to keep Kate safe and also defeat the evil Demon Lord?

What can I say about this book except that I feel like I’ve been waiting forever for it! As soon as I finished the final pages of Demons I was on a countdown until I had this Guardians in my hands. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Frost continued her amazing writing with this book and she immediately sucks you in once again into the lives of Kate, Patrick, Toni, and Lee.

This book is action packed right from the beginning. I tried to read this one slowly and savor it, but I failed. I flew through it! I am sad that this is the last installment in the series, but what a ride it has been. I definitely look forward to any other books that Ms. Frost has planned and I’m sure I will enjoy them just as much as I enjoyed this entire series.
